Vehicle and plant hygiene inspections.

Soil, seed and plant material on machinery is one of the most common ways weeds and diseases reach a new site. We inspect vehicles, plant and equipment on arrival and departure and record the result for every item.
Clean in, clean out.
We inspect against your site hygiene procedure or approval conditions and work with the gate team so machinery is not held up.
- Arrival inspections for vehicles, plant and attachments
- Departure inspections before machinery leaves site
- Weed hygiene declarations and inspection records
- Rejection, re-clean and re-inspection management
An inspection record for every item.
Records are kept per item so you can answer the question of what came onto site, when and in what condition.
- Asset, registration or plant number and owner
- Inspection result with photographs
- Weed hygiene declaration or certificate
- Daily inspection register for your environmental file
How pricing works
Quotes are itemised by crew day rate, vehicle and equipment, consumables, travel and reporting. Inspection days can be booked as a standing roster or for mobilisation peaks.
Send the site location, the area or fleet involved, your preferred dates and any approval conditions. We confirm scope, availability and price before work is booked.
Fire ant and other movement controls
Some areas have legal controls on moving soil, mulch, hay and machinery, such as the fire ant biosecurity zones in South East Queensland. We can build those checks into your inspection procedure.
Licences and accreditation
Each task is carried out by personnel holding the licence or accreditation it requires in that state, such as chemical application accreditation, a commercial pest management licence or a firearms licence. Copies are supplied with the quote or before mobilisation on request.
Frequently asked questions
What is a weed hygiene declaration?
A signed record that a vehicle or piece of machinery has been inspected and is free of soil, seed and plant material before it moves. Many projects and landholders ask for one before access is granted.
Can you inspect before machinery leaves the hire yard?
Yes. We can inspect at the supplier's yard, at a staging area or at your site gate, whichever keeps the program moving.
What happens if an item fails?
It is tagged, the reason is recorded with photographs and it is sent back to the washdown. We re-inspect it and update the record once it is clean.
